Your creator profile

Every project you publish, in one place.

Once a project is approved, it appears on your profile in the HeyOtto app. Other creators can browse your work, try it, rate it, and follow you to see what you make next. This is how HeyOtto's own profile works, and yours works the same way.

Each approved project gets a card with its category and rating.

For curious minds and young makers.

The Marketplace is for kids and teens who want to turn their ideas into working projects and share approved creations with other HeyOtto users.

You can be new to coding or already have projects you're proud of. Start with something manageable, keep experimenting, and build at your own pace. Parents and educators can help young creators explore ideas and support the publishing process.

The path to publication

  1. Create

Build a game, app, tool, or educational project in HeyOtto.

  2. Test

Try it, check how it behaves, fix issues, and make improvements.

  3. Submit

Send your finished project. Parent approval comes first when your family's settings require it.

  4. Review

The HeyOtto team reviews every submission. Submitting doesn't guarantee approval.

  5. Share

Once approved, it appears on your profile and in the Marketplace.

Make something worth exploring.

Reviewers look at every project with these questions in mind. Check them before you submit.

  • Has a clear purpose or idea
  • Works as described and was tested first
  • Is appropriate for its audience
  • Doesn't expose personal or sensitive information
  • Respects other people's work and intellectual property
  • Follows HeyOtto's safety and publishing rules

Let the work speak for itself.

Users can follow creators and rate projects. Public follower counts and comment threads aren't part of the experience, and there are no notifications designed to create pressure to follow back. The focus is on making, learning, and discovering, not on building a public popularity score.

For parents

Support their ideas. Stay involved in publishing.

You choose whether your child needs your approval before submitting a project. Whatever you choose, every submission goes through HeyOtto team review before publication, within HeyOtto's existing family safety controls.
